For single parents
Your children are not the complication. They are the first thing we match on.
Most apps treat a child as a detail you reveal once someone likes you enough. Here it is one of six rules the matching will not break, which means the reveal never has to happen.
The short answer
Whether you have children, whether you want more, and whether the person you meet wants the same are settled before an introduction is made. Every member is verified with a government ID. And you are shown one person at a time, which is the only version of this that fits around a life that is already full.
Two problems, and neither is you
The first is the timing problem. Mention your children in the first message and you have led with the thing some people will use to sort you out. Mention them late and you have spent weeks on someone who was never going to want this, and you are the one who has to raise it and watch their face.
The second is time. Dating apps are built for people with empty evenings. A single parent does not have forty decisions a night to spend, and the products that reward volume are the ones that punish you hardest for having a life.
Neither is a personal failing. Both are what happens when a serious situation is handled by a tool designed for an unserious one.
What is different here
Children are an absolute, not a filter
Have and want more, have and do not want more, want someday, do not want. It is one of six rules applied before any compatibility score is calculated, so no amount of matching well elsewhere can override it.
The hardest conversation is already had
Nobody you meet is learning this from you. They knew, and they were matched with you anyway — which is a different starting point from being accepted despite something.
One person at a time, because your evenings are not free
No feed to keep up with, no queue, no rotation of half-conversations. One introduction with the reasons written out, and nothing waiting if you put your phone down for a week.
Everyone is who they say they are
Government ID, checked before anyone can be matched. When there are children in the picture, knowing that a real named adult is accountable for the account is not a small thing.
Parenting is asked about in your own words
A written prompt on parenting philosophy, and another on what an ordinary evening looks like to you. Two people can both say they want a family and mean completely different houses.
And then the app helps with the part after
Blending a life is harder than starting one, and almost nothing is built for it. Once you have met someone, the app becomes a private journal for what you are learning about them, daily suggestions for how to show up drawn from their own words, date-night ideas for the evenings you do get, a monthly private check-in. A counsellor directory and a mentor community are being built and are not open yet. What happens after the match.

Is there a dating app for single parents who want to remarry?
Date to Marry is built for people whose goal is marriage, and children are one of six absolute rules in the matching rather than a filter. Whether you have children, whether you want more, and whether the person you meet wants the same are settled before an introduction is ever made.
Do I have to say that I have children?
Yes, and it is part of how you are matched rather than something you disclose later. The person you meet already knew and chose to be there, which removes the conversation most single parents describe as the hardest one.
Will having children reduce my chances?
It changes who you are matched with, not how many. A person who does not want a family with children in it was never going to work, and the matching not proposing them is the feature rather than a loss.
I have very little time. Is this app demanding?
The intake takes about eight minutes and the identity check about two. After that you are shown one person at a time rather than a feed, so there is nothing to keep up with and nothing to work through. It is the least time-hungry way we know to do this seriously.
