For singles over 40
Fewer games. And much less patience for them.
You are not less hopeful than you were at thirty. You are less willing to spend a year finding out what someone meant — and there is no app built around that, which is why we built this one.
The short answer
Everyone here has stated marriage as the goal and verified their identity with a government document. Age ranges are mutual, so nobody is proposed to you because their own range was wide. And you are shown one person at a time, with the reasoning written out.
What actually changes after 40
Not your standards — those got clearer, not higher. What changes is the price of ambiguity. At twenty-five, six undefined months is an experience you will tell a story about. At forty-five it is a year you do not get back, spent finding out something the other person could have told you in week one.
Mainstream apps are structurally incapable of removing that ambiguity, because ambiguity is what keeps people using them. Everything is left to be discovered: whether they want children, whether they would move, what they think marriage is, when. All of it surfaces slowly, at your expense, and the interface has no place to put any of it.
Meanwhile the same interface keeps offering you the reassurance that there is always someone else — which is exactly the thought that stops a good thing being taken seriously.
What we do instead
The expensive questions come first
Children, faith, where you will live, your timeline, how a household would run financially. Answered at intake, and several are absolute — the matching will not pair two people whose answers cannot both come true.
Age works in both directions
Both people's stated ranges must contain the other. You are not shown someone twenty years younger because their range said eighteen to ninety-nine.
No one else in the background
One person, no queue, nothing to compare them against. The thought that there is always someone else is the single biggest enemy of a good relationship at any age, and here there is structurally no one else.
Everyone is a named, verified adult
Government ID before anyone can be matched. Elsewhere "verified" means a selfie, which proves someone owns a face rather than a name.
And the part that matters most at this age
You already know that the introduction was never the hard bit. Most of this app is built for afterwards: a private journal for what you are learning about them, daily suggestions drawn from their own words, questions worth asking over dinner, a monthly private check-in. A counsellor directory and a mentor community are being built and are not open yet. What happens after the match.

Stop finding out slowly.
One payment of €249 when you join, never a subscription. €210 comes back if we do not bring you a relationship within a year.

Is there a dating app for singles over 40 who want to marry?
Date to Marry is built for people whose goal is marriage rather than dating, and the community skews well above 30. Everyone states marriage as their intention before being shown to anyone, every member is verified by government ID, and the questions that decide a marriage are answered at intake instead of over months.
Is it harder to find a partner after 40?
The pool is smaller and the tools are worse, which is not the same as it being unlikely. What changes most is that vagueness becomes expensive: at 25 an undefined six months is an experience, at 45 it is a year you do not get back. A structure that settles the serious questions early is worth much more than it was.
Will I be matched with people much younger or older than me?
No. Age preferences are mutual — both people’s stated ranges have to contain the other, so nobody is proposed to you because your own range happened to be wide.
I have been out of dating for a long time. Is this complicated?
There is no feed to learn and no swiping. You answer questions once, verify who you are, and are then shown one person at a time with a written explanation of why. Most of it is reading and deciding rather than operating an interface.
