Child Safety Standards
Effective 28 August 2026 · Last updated: 28 August 2026
Date to Marry has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page sets out how we prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and related harm.
Date to Marry is a marriage-first matchmaking platform for adults only. Protecting children is not a compliance box for us. A platform built entirely on verified identity and serious intent has no place for anyone who would harm a child, and we treat it accordingly.
1. Age requirement and identity verification
Date to Marry is exclusively for people aged 18 or over. We enforce this with mandatory government-issued identity verification, carried out by our partner Didit, before anyone can access matching or messaging. A member who cannot pass verification cannot use the Service under any circumstances.
Any account found to belong to a minor is suspended immediately and permanently deleted, however it was created, and all data associated with it is removed.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE
We strictly prohibit any content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers a minor, including:
- Child sexual abuse material of any kind.
- Grooming behaviour directed at a minor.
- Solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, distributing, linking to, or requesting CSAM.
- Any content that sexualises a minor, whether it depicts a real person or not.
Breaching this policy results in immediate and permanent termination. We preserve all relevant evidence and report confirmed violations to the appropriate national authorities and to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) through CyberTipline, as required by the PROTECT Our Children Act (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and equivalent laws elsewhere.
3. In-app reporting
Every member can report a safety concern, including suspected CSAE, from inside the app at any time. Reports are reviewed promptly by a person. An account under investigation for CSAE is suspended pending review and permanently banned on confirmation.
Members who make a good-faith safety report are protected from retaliation, and we do not disclose who reported whom.
4. Proactive detection
- Mandatory government-issued ID verification for every member before any access to other members.
- Human review of behavioural reports raised by members or flagged by our moderation systems.
- Immediate suspension of any account credibly suspected of CSAE activity.
- Permanent deletion of any content that breaches this policy.
- Monitoring for behavioural patterns consistent with grooming or exploitation.
5. AI-generated content
Our prohibition covers AI-generated, synthetic, and computer-generated imagery that depicts or sexualises a minor. We draw no distinction between real and generated material, and in a growing number of jurisdictions neither does the law.
7. Consequences
- Immediate and permanent ban.
- Preservation and disclosure of all relevant evidence to law enforcement.
- Mandatory reporting to NCMEC and to the applicable authorities.
- No eligibility to register again, ever.
8. Child safety point of contact
To report a child safety concern, use the in-app report feature, or contact our designated child safety point of contact directly. That contact is responsible for our CSAM prevention practices and compliance, and is available to platform partners, regulators, and law enforcement.
Child safety contact: hello@datetomarry.app
For urgent law enforcement or regulatory enquiries, use that address with “URGENT — Child Safety” in the subject line.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
